Use pumpkin (not for pumpkin pie) as the spread and sprinkle the ginger powder on it. Pumpkin has a very soothing effect on the digestive systems of dogs. It greatly alleviates vomiting in dogs.
Fast Your Dog
This is one of the best ways to give your pup’s digestive system time to recover and reset. Once you’ve noticed your dog vomiting enough to alert you, do not feed him for 12 hours, if you have a puppy. For older dogs, make them wait 24 hours before they’re fed. They’re going to be hungry and maybe give you the signs that they want some food. Be strong and don’t feed them. Let their systems rest.
