Is your dog constantly scratching himself? This is one of the most tell-tale sign of allergies. This is especially true if it seems to get worse after you have been outside.

Licking Obsessively

Is your dog constantly licking, especially his belly and paws? If so, this could be a sign that he’s bothered by something in his environment.

Red and Irritated Skin

Rashes and hives can also be the cause of dog allergies itching and scratching irritation. Look on their belly and feet, particularly between their toes. These are the areas that are likely to touch grass or pollen the most.

Hair Loss

With dog allergies itching can cause hair loss, if it has been left untreated for too long.

Rubbing His Face on Things

Some dogs will try and rub or scoot their face and entire body across the carpet, pillows, couches, etc. in order to alleviate the itchiness.

Smelly, Red Ears
